Fusible Interfacing : Woven White - 22"
Fusible woven interfacing with soft drape and superior strength and stability. Ideal for all kinds of garment sewing, tailoring, and mending - this is our favorite interfacing! Perfect substitution for projects that call for Pellon Shape-Flex SF101.
• Use on cuffs, collars, yokes, pockets, facings, and other detailed areas that need crisp support in your garment sewing.
• Use as a stabilizer for T-shirt quilt blocks, or interfacing for bag linings and pockets.
• Adds body and permanent stability for needlework and punch needle projects. Simply fuse on the back side of your base material before or after stitching.
100% cotton, 22" wide ~ Machine wash warm and tumble dry medium. Dry cleanable.
Use Instructions: (Test on a scrap piece from your project before applying interfacings to the entire project so you can adjust pressing times and heat as needed.)
1. Prewash fabrics/garments without fabric softeners to achieve the best bond. Interfacings do not need to be prewashed.
2. Cut interfacings according to pattern instructions.
3. Preheat your iron to a medium or wool setting with NO STEAM.
4. Place the rough side (glue side) of the interfacing onto the wrong side of the project fabric.
5. Cover with a light, dry pressing cloth. Press and hold the iron in place with medium pressure for 10-12 seconds.
6. Repeat by lifting the iron and placing in the next area, slightly overlapping the first until the entire surface is bonded, adjusting pressing times as needed.
7. After ironing, let the pieces cool before continuing.
